Testimonials

We were more than happy with the services provided by your very capable team. Every person we encountered at your office from the receptionist to the attorneys were so courteous, kind, helpful, and very efficient. They all made us feel comfortable in a setting that makes us very nervous.

I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your firm’s help and guidance in my mother’s case. The first step that the law group completed was a multi-page, detailed trust planning document. This plan would have been impossible for me to research, develop or complete in a timely manner without legal assistance. The plan detailed each step that my mother and I were to complete and how to accomplish each step consistent with Medicaid eligibility planning requirements. This plan was completed with an attorney overseeing each step to insure that all time requirements were strictly adhered to.

Following the comprehensive plan, my mother stayed at home for the next two years using all of her trust money to pay for in-home care. The trust paid for a home health care aid each day. However, my mother’s mobility continued to diminish with time and a nursing home was the only option remaining. Based on past work product and success, I asked attorney Coulson to assist us with our next step. Filing the Medicaid application to take over my mother’s care is a really long, complicated process. Even with my legal background, I could not have completed the process without help.

When looking at the overall situation and result, attorney Coulson’s law group fees were reasonable and the end result what I wanted to achieve. As always, my mother’s health and wellbeing were my primary concern.

Wes,

Thank you! We appreciate all that you did for us.

Thank you so much for all the work you invested to help my father obtain his VA Pension.  I had no idea there would be so much to do.  Each of you were great to work with and showed the utmost concern for our family.  If I had attempted to do this on my own, my Dad would not have his much-deserved pension today.  The time invested was well worth it.

Once upon a time, I and my father had a problem, a problem so large and complex that it could be more than compared to driving in rush hour traffic in a strange town in the rain. For a year I traveled down many avenues. I spoke with Lawyers, Financial Advisors, VA, County, State, and Federal Advisors, friends, family, and their contacts. The roads led to nowhere. I mean, I was at square one after a year of stressful travels. Then, by happenstance, I found Coulson Elder Law who immediately took hold of the wheel and led me and my dad down a calculated, personal, prompt, and professional path to a VA Pension and Financial Security. Coulson Elder Law proved to help my dad in ways that no one had advised let alone thought of. This Firm’s expertise was heads above anyone I had spoken with.

If someone loves their father as I do, in a year’s time you will find yourself walking down many paths and driving many roads to try and find the means to an end Coulson Elder Law provided those means without hesitation. I will be eternally thankful to Coulson Elder Law. Thanks again Wes!

I have found Coulson Elder Law to be a very caring, professional team. They were very helpful in getting all my mother’s paperwork in order. Coulson Elder Law walked me through the process, saving me a lot of time, stress, and legwork. They have always been prompt in returning my call with the needed answers. I would recommend Coulson Elder Law to anyone trying to organize the affairs of an aging parent.

Wes,

Thank you, your staff, and Kathy Wysack for your encouragement and help in making this happen. I must admit that I was surprised by the approval and the amount of the approval. I thought we would go through weeks of questions and need for additional information. I can now see the possibility of retirement within a year or so.

Again, Thank you to everyone for your help!

The time for future planning is not in the future.  The time is now.  You do not know me; however, I cannot stress the importance of doing this planning now.  Too many people (my mother and myself included) wait until they are behind the eight ball.  That is not to say that planning cannot be done, but rather why wait until a loved one or perhaps yourself is faced with having to do this planning when time is of the essence.  Many people believe they have taken the steps and have their planning in order.  With what I know now, I consider that the same as doing your own brain surgery.  When I met with Wes to finalize things, he asked me “did we earn your money?”.  I told him there was no doubt in my mind.  I offered to write this letter with the intent that if it only helps one person to make a decision regarding planning, then it was well worth my time.

I would like to say that Coulson Elder Law was a pleasure to work with.  I would recommend them to anyone.  I hope that this letter may give you some comfort if you experience “sticker shock” and help to make your decision much easier.  I hope you give Coulson Elder Law a chance to show you firsthand what planning they can do for you.  If you do, I guarantee you will be writing one of these letters as well.

On behalf of my mother and family I would like to thank you for your efforts to insure a successful application for Mo HealthNet benefits.  It is such a relief to have this behind us.  I am confident your efforts led to the best possible results associated with the application.

Thanks again!

Sue

Thank you and all at Coulson Elder Law who in any way helped mother obtain the Veterans benefits to which she was entitled through dad’s WW II service. Although it was at times a tedious paper gathering process, I am glad that your staff completed the VA application at your office. I am certain that I would not have been able to fill out the application and I was grateful that your office skillfully completed it so that only mother’s signature was required.

Because she received the full VA award to which she was entitled, after a few months, your fee was recovered. Although the money for her care has been a Godsend,  just as importantly, it has given her great peace of mind to know that her and dad’s life savings are not being depleted as rapidly as was happening before the VA award.

My mom, my siblings and I all thank you for this service.
